I think this quote means that if you have to go through a though challenge for someone or even yourself you have to try and don't give up or you wont be able to make it through that challenge. Even though you don't make it though you knew that you try your best, you make it the best you could go for.Everyday in your life their is hard challenges you have to face but even though you don't make it you knew you tried your best.
